On the Frontlines of Youth Mental Health

In July, we reached our goal of training 350 people in Youth Mental Health First Aid and are on track to reach 600 people by the end of the year. In a partnership with Cigna, the Mandell JCC is helping to provide people, individually or through their employers, with skills and knowledge to help youth experiencing mental health or substance use challenges – to know the signs and to know what to say. The 8-hour course is offered at no cost, thanks to Cigna’s support, and the schedule of courses is listed on the JCC’s website.
