For more than 100 years, the Mandell Jewish Community Center has brought people together in a one-of-a-kind place. Where old friends connect. New friends meet. Traditions are celebrated. And communities are created. All thanks to our incredibly strong community of donors like you.
But throughout our history, we have never faced a time like this. This year that has forced us to stay apart has brought unprecedented challenges to how we can provide valuable connections for all who count on us. From critical gaps in revenue to dramatic staff, program and service changes, we are confronting a radically different future.
However, we are anything but resigned to it. We have faced adversity before, and we have overcome it. And with your help, we will do it again. Already, many have donated their membership dues and tuitions to help us continue assisting our most vulnerable members. And we’ve found creative ways to keep coming together even in these socially distanced times.
Inspired by you and the remarkable resilience our community has already shown, we have created the Community Donor Circle Crisis Fund. It is a way to even more effectively harness the courage and compassion that has already helped our community — and use it to ensure we emerge from this period not the same, but stronger.
Together, we have built a very special place. Together, we have lifted each other up. And together, we will ensure that our future shines just as powerfully as our past.
NEVER NEEDED MORE

Arts & Culture
How do the arts bring us together?
The arts bring us together with exhibits, film screenings, author lectures, theatrical productions and dance recitals. Thanks to our donors, we come together to welcome new worlds into ours, opening our eyes and minds to a diversity of ideas.
These words have never resonated more than right now.
We cannot express how grateful we are to our Community Giving Circle donors who support and sustain us. This is the truest sense of a community that is all in this together. That is stronger together.
This crisis has generated new types of needs from our community, and because of your support, we have been able to respond swiftly; continuing to fulfill our mission to build connections and deliver quality educational, health and well-being, and cultural experiences to our members.
We are beyond grateful to you and we are incredibly proud of the community that we have built together.
